CONVERSATION SIMPLE PAST TENSE

Regitha : What did you do last night?
Putri :  I did my homework.
Regitha : It was difficult. I did not do my homework.
Putri      : My Sister helped me to do it.
Regitha : By the way, did you watch Baby boss movie two days ago?
Putri      : No, i did not. I played basketball with my cousin in the field.
Regitha : oh... unconditionally the movies is very funnies.
Putri      : Oh my god! I’m very dissapointed did not watch the movie
Regitha : You can watched the movie with streaming on the internet
Putri : Thanks for your information Git !
Regitha : Oke ur welcome, i will go now bye

Putri : So guys, What we will do today?
Gea : I want go to the Casablanca Mall. 
Regitha : I agree, I want to window shopping.
Putri : Yes, me too. I want to buy some clothes.
Gea : Yes, After that, do you want to play time zone guys?
Putri : Aha... Good idea!

“Simple Past Tense And Present Perfect Tense”

Pengertian  Simple Past Tense

Simple Past Tense adalah tense yang berfungsi untuk menunjukkan pekerjaan yang terjadi pada masa lampau tanpa ingin menekankan bahwa pekerjaann tersebut telah ( Perfect) atau sedang ( Continous ) dikerjakan. Pemahaman tense ini hampir sama dengan Simple Present Tense, hanya waktunya saja yang berbeda.

Rumus dan Bentuk  Simple Past Tense

1.  (+) Positif  :

                   - Subject + was/were+complemet

                    - Subject + Verb II +Object

            Contoh    :  - I saw a movie yesterday

                              -Last year,Daniel was here

                               -She killed a snake yesterday

     2.     (-) Negatif  :

                        - Subject + to be (was/were) + not + complement

                        - Subject + did not + Verb I + Object

            Contoh      : -I did not see him yesterday

                                -She was not here yesterday

                               -We didn’t have any money

3 (?) Interrogative :

                        Did + Subject + Verb I + Object + ?

            Contoh   : -     Did you play football yesterday ?

-          Did you have a bicycle when you were young ?

-          Did he come to your party last week ?

Simpel Past Tense menggunakan keterangan waktu yang menunjukkan masa lampau, seperti yesterday ( Kemarin ), last week ( Minggu lalu ), last night ( Kemarin Malam ), One Year Ago ( Setahun yang lalu ), The day before ( Sehari Sebelum ), dan Once Upon a time ( Pada Suatu Waktu )

Fungsi  Simple Past Tense

1.      Simple past tense untuk membicarakan aksi yang terjadi pada satu waktu tertentu di masa lalu

2.      Simple past tense untuk membicarakan kebiasaan yang sering dilakukan pada masa lampau. Subordinate conjunction “when” biasanya digunakan pada situasi ini.

3.      Untuk menunjukkan dua kejadian di masa lalu, salah satu aksi berdurasi pendek (simple past tense) yang terjadi ketika suatu aksi lain yang berdurasi panjang (past continuous tense) sedang berlangsung.

4.      Untuk menunjukkan dua kejadian di masa lalu, slah satu aksi berdurasi pendek (simple past tense) yang terjadi ketika suatu aksi lain yang berdurasi panjang (past continuous tense) sedang berlangsung.

5.       Simple past tense digunakan pada salah satu clausa dalam conditional sentence type 2

6.      Untuk menunjukkan bahwa suatu aksi (simple past tense) terjadi sesudah aksi yang lain selesai di masa lalu (past perfect tense).

Pengertian Present Perfect Tense

Present Perfect Tense adalah suatu bentuk kata kerja yang digunakan untuk menyatakan suatu aksi atau situasi yang telah dimulai di masa lalu dan masih berlanjut sampai sekarang atau telah selesai pada suatu titik waktu tertentu di masa lalu namun efeknya masih berlanjut.

Contoh  Present Perfect Tense

Positive sentence

- We have written a letter to you.
- She has taught this class for ten years.

Negative Sentence

- We have not (haven't) written a letter to you.

- She has not (hasn't) taught this class for ten years.

Interogative sentence

- Have we  written a letter to you?
- Has she taught this class for ten years?

Fungsi  Present Perfect Tense

Ø  Present Perfect Tense untuk mengungkapkan kejadian di masa lalu tanpa peduli kapan tepatnya terjadi, Contohnya : I’ve read this book

Ø  Present Perfect Tense untuk menunjukan bahwa suatu aksi terjadi berulang kali dimasa lampau, Contohnya : She has called you four times

Ø  Present Perfect Tense untuk mengungkapkan aktivitas atau situasi yang dimulai pada masa lampau kemudian dilanjutkan samapi sekarang, Contohnys : I have lived in Citayam for Five Months.

Ø  Present Perfect Tense untuk membicarakan event yang baru saja terjadi, Contohnya : I’ve just sent you an email.
